The trailer of The Last Airbender was released a few months ago. When I watch it, I wanted to watch the movie so badly. This afternoon, I went to watch the movie. Okay, my review? Wait for it.

Not like what I have expected. Seriously. It was just OKAY for me. Not that great and yet not that bad. I'm honestly a bit disappointed. There is something missing in the movie. Great movies can catch your attention in 3 minutes, but The Last Airbender (TLA) took like at least 15 minutes to make me focus on it. First disappointment is that the movie started quite slow. I mean it doesn't immediately grab your attention or in other word, boring during the front part. Second, you can see a lot of Chinese characters (words) but yet there is no Chinese men in that movie. Third, the monk master is not a Chinese. He is African-American for crying out loud. I'm not being racist here, but don't you think that's a bit weird? Fourth, there are many Indians in that movie. Since the director of TLA is an Indian (M. Night Shyamalan), so maybe he decided to use more Indians in his movie. And maybe he is just trying to help his people. Then again, I'm not practicing racism here. It is just my opinion.

Overall, it is still okay. Acceptable for me. And I'm telling you there is definitely another sequel of it.

Last two days I received a heart breaking news. My junior in high school passed away because of kidney failure. She is too young to leave this world. I'm not close to her, but when I heard about that news, I can't believe it and so sad about it. I remember that she was a cheerful and active girl in school. But sadly, she'd already left this world. Maybe God loves her more. I hope that your soul rest in peace Chin Lee Kee.
