Today is the 1st of August. It is Friendship Day. I still have no ideas why Friendship Day falls on this date. Gonna Google it for the history after this. Maybe la.
Friends are so important in my life. I bet for everyone's life too. But family indeed comes first. For me, life without friends is so pathetic I would say. True friends help when you are in need, talk to you when you are boring, spend time with you whenever you miss them. But, beware of those that take advantages of you and back stab your friendship.
And I'm lucky I still have a best friend. She is a wonderful person and her friendship is so meaningful to me. Our friendship grew apart a few years back. That was so sad for me. I know I'm the one who should be blamed. I was so regret about it. Nevermind, what meant to happen has happened. And we managed to be best friends again. And I am so glad for the friendship we have now.
Anyway, cherish your friends especially your best friends. Don't take them for granted, the way I used to be. I have learnt my lesson. True friends will stand by you, listen to your problems, share secrets, and go through thin and thick with you. Keep in touch with your friends.
