State Level Unduk Ngadau 2011

This year's UN was somewhat disappointing and boring. There was no electricity for a short while during the event, which repeated 3 times. And the result was somewhat planned. Gah. This year's UN is UN Penampang, again. You see, from the start of the first UN back in 1960, the first winner was from Penampang. That was okay. But then, when you look back into the history, most winners were from Penampang itself. Almost 70 percent of them representing Penampang. Don't believe me? See this yourself. I'm not being racist or anything, but the question is, why do the contestants from near to Kota Kinabalu such as Penampang, Putatan, Papar, Tanjung Aru, Tuaran had the chance to win the state level UN? Are they more beautiful compare to those from rural areas of Sabah such as Tongod, Paitan, Bongawan, Telupid, Matunggong? Or they are more intelligent when it comes to answering questions or they walk better than them? Kesian la dorang yang datang jauh-jauh tapi menang saguhati ja.

Just like yesterday's UN, the UN Penampang 'interrupted' the emcee when he was about to ask her a question during Q&A session and her answer was not as good as the second place and third place UNs because her answer was not flawless. Second place UN Tamparuli and Third place UN Tuaran gave good answers and both answered flawlessly. Maybe their beauty is not to compare with UN Penampang, but both of them are yet beautiful. BTW, I'm a Penampang girl myself. I'm not a traitor but I'm just being honest. I'm just sharing my thoughts. All that I can conclude is that this year's UN is a scam. With bias in the juries and a big family name, you sure can win the state level UN.

Okay. Enough with that. Below are the result for 2011 state level Unduk Ngadau. 

There were 40 contestants participated this year. After the introduction round & the first round, there were only 15 of them qualified for the Top 15.

Last year's UN, Crystal Eve Huminodun took her last walk on stage before the result was announced.
