Two Dangerous Hours

Just now in the evening, I went for my driving lesson. When me and my tutor reached at ADC, it was cloudy and about to rain.
My tutor told and taught me the basics such as starting the engine, where are the signals, how to change gear, how to balance the clutch and oil, what to do when changing gears and so on. And then after about 10 minutes listening and observing my tutor when he was teaching, it was my turn to do what he has demo. I was nervous, of course. Plus, the rain started to pour, quite heavy. Making me even more panic and it was my first time to actually drive a car. Double trouble.
Firstly, I drove slowly around the driving circuit. We made a lot of turns at the circuit and also testing my changing gear skill, handling the steering wheel, and also balancing the clutch and the oil pedals, which was so freaking hard. Gosh. I kept making the car to stop in sudden and my tutor was freaked out at one of the sudden breaks. LOL. I really have to do a lot of practice on the balancing thingy.
Next lesson was driving around the circuit again, but this time it was learning to drive to the left side cornering. It was quite challenging to stay on the lane. I mostly drove out of the lane and entering to the other lane. Nevermind, first time right? Noobie in the house.
Then, my tutor said that I'm gonna learn how to park the car. Side parking. Of all, it was the hardest, for now because there were a few steps I got to master. And I have to memorise the steps accordingly, if not I'm sure gonna fail during the driving exam. And again, balancing of the almighty clutch and oil. Pffttt.
I repeated the side parking for about 10 times, if not mistaken. And that involves turning the steering 3 to 4 times, 360 degree, which if you multiple it and times the total with 10 times, you get SORE ARMS. If only the car has power steering, my job will be easier where I don't have to use lots of energy to turn the steering. The steering is quite hard and stiff. And my tutor told me that I have energy to actually turn the steering, because other girl tutees he had had difficulties to turn it. I'm not bragging, but I was quite shocked to hear that actually. I am so gonna own a power steering car rather than the normal steering one because I really feel my arms aching right now.
After the side parking lesson, my tutor then took over the car and sent me home, safely. TEEHEE.
I'm gonna continue my driving lesson again by next week. And I'm really am tired now. Especially my arms. Someone please give me a massage?
Now I know why people keep complaining that driving is tiring. You must experience it to know it, then you'd understand.
Really enjoyed myself today driving for the first time, even though I literally 'hurt' myself. And I bought myself a new dress. Floral and cheap. RM25.

The cloudy sky and ADC's driving circuit.

Blame it for not having power steering. Kidding. Phase of learning.

My L license.
