Perdana Park at Hone Place

After long hiatus of exercising, I finally exercised with my family at Perdana Park, Tanjung Aru. Of course, our mission was to watch the musical fountain. We arrived around 6.30pm and the show was already started. I was quite confused because I remembered the notice I once saw stated that the first show will be at 7pm. I went there last week at noon. We didn't managed to have a walk in the park because it's freaking hot, and we didn't bring any umbrella. Mau jaga kulit punya pasal lol.

We can see the water 'flying' in the air from the carpark. With excitement, we rushed (walk fast actually) into the park. I was mesmerized with the musical fountain with its colourful lighting and some background musics. I did record some videos. 

After the first show, we went for a jog on the carpet running track. After about 30 minutes of jogging, I stopped because my stamina doesn't allow me to continue. I wasn't fit enough already, since haven't exercising for quite a long time. Me and my family always go for futsal at least once a week back then, but due to busy life, some are studying abroad, and some are pregnant, the activity eventually 'stop'.

After the jog, we sat near the pond and watch the next show. But the view during night time wasn't that nice compare to the show during the sunset. Just so you know, the park also provides free flow of clean water at the kiosk. So, if you are planning to go there someday, don't bother to bring water bottle.

I could surely say that Sabahans can be proud of this park. It is one of the three musical fountains available in Malaysia which one is located in KL and the other one is in Miri. The facilities provided are great and the scenery is beautiful, indeed. But the question is, government was willing to contribute million of ringgit to build this park for the public, but do they notice that there are still lots of miskin tegar in Sabah? Hmmmm...... Just my point of view.
