State Level Unduk Ngadau

I arrived at KDCA around 9am. Went into the hall and seated at the banquet chairs session. I was lucky for having a seat with good view of the stage. A lot of performances were performed included Magavau, cultural dances, choir, singing performance & of course the event that most of us waiting for-Unduk Ngadau.
There were 41 contestants participated this year. But, in the end, only 39 were able to present on stage and the other two were not due to some problems.
After the introduction round & the first round, there were only 15 of them qualified for the Top 15.

UN Kuala Penyu
UN Likas
UN Papar
UN Penampang
UN Pitas
UN Ranau
UN Sipitang
UN Sook
UN Tambunan
UN Tamparuli
UN Tanjung Aru
UN Tuaran

The Top 15 were being asked some questions. And some of the UNs answered with great and yet long answers. Some were just annoying. Sorry to say this.

Then, Top 7 were chosen. They are:-

UN KK

UN Tuaran
UN Tanjung Aru

Last year's UN, Appey Rowenna took her last walk on stage before the result was being announced.

4th-UN Tuaran
3rd-UN KK
2nd-Penanmpang
1st-UN Tanjung Aru

Most of the crowd was NOT satisfy with the result. We really thought Tambunan or Penampang will win for this year UN. But, it was just a dream. BTW, congrats to Crystal Eve Huminodun Majinbon for being the 2010 Unduk Ngadau. All the best!!
