Ya, I have to admit this. I just watched Avatar today. It was released on 10th December 2009. And today's date is 5th Feb 2010. When it was first released in the cinemas, I never intended to watch it because I really thought it was a Sci-Fi movie. I hate those kind of films.
But what makes me watch the film actually? It is because Avatar has topped Titanic for being the highest-grossing film. So, I thought myself, 'Oh, it must be goooood'. So, I watched it during my free time just now. And I found out that it was a Sci-Fi movie. But, the movie still acceptable for me.
The graphic effect of the story done beautifully. The movie really gives lessons and show the lack of humanity in human. Ya, we, the human beings will do everything and anything (including killing) to get what we want. Just see the world right now, everything has changed. But, luckily not all are like that, some still have a drop of humanity in themselves. Like Jake Sully played by Sam Worthington, he's willing to against his own race in order to save the Na'vi. I will do the same, if I'm in that situation. I don't mind if you say I'm stupid or selfish. I can't stand to see people killing sinless lives just to get fame, status or recognition.
By the way, the movie is really good like they said. 8 out of 10 for it. Bravo!
